About this art work.
Baobabs are the static mammoths of the botanical realm that dominate the landscape here in Ruaha. These sky-high trees— considered the oldest living things on the continent— have always been crucial for both man and animal. Everything from its bark to its flowers is useful. The tree’s fruit is the biggest prize, however, because once the velvety, coconut-like shell is removed, a dusty substance covering the seeds is revealed. And monkeys, those clever little scoundrels, know this all too well.
